The gap
No independent standard certifies who is ready.
Commercial spaceflight is growing faster than the training that makes it safe. Every operator assembles its own patchwork: a centrifuge in Pennsylvania, a simulator at the manufacturer, a flight surgeon someone knew.

Domains, criteria, evidence, and thresholds for training crew members and certifying them before flight. Grounded in NASA Behavioral Health and Performance practice, the SpARC occupant-safety recommendations (April 2025), and published crew-science research.
